The 24th Municipal Administration of Tijuana led by Montserrat Caballero Ramírez invested more than 51 million pesos to buy heavy machinery for the nine delegations of the city.
During the delivery of this work equipment, the mayor claimed that her government continues moving forward on its set goal because they’ll go out with their heads held high and will leave comrade Ismael Burgueño a better administration than the one she found when she took office.
“We, the administration, must be the best until the last day of office. The upcoming one will have its regular budget as it should be, 25% of it allocated in Agencies and Secretariats in December so that they can pay all public workers their Christmas bonuses and benefits,” the mayor said during her speech at the parking lot of Parque Morelos.
In front of the nine delegates, the mayor explained that the goal of her government is to strengthen operational areas, which means that each of the delegations received a truck mounted crane to strengthen the installation of and repair public lighting.

Together with the Secretary of the Interior, Miguel Angel Bujanda Ruiz, the mayor recognized the efforts and work of field workers: people who, even if it rains, is hot, or is cold, are always willing to work and solve the several different issues that occur in each municipal delegation.
The mayor said that her government has invested a lot in equipment and renovation of the vehicular park because it had not been done in so many years. They also provided staff with safety tools so that they could work correctly.
She explained that it is in these types of actions where citizens’ money is being invested, because this government, with resources from Tijuana natives, builds projects, restores equipment, and multiplies its transparency and honesty efforts so that things can happen and realities change.
In his speech, Senior Official Marcelo Machain Servin said that of the 31 units acquired, the mayor delivered 6 pick-up units, one dump truck to collect heavy garbage, four sweepers, five dump trucks, two light pick up vehicles, two trucks with waste removal equipment, a crane truck, and a line painter truck.
