Mobility projects built by the government of Marina del Pilar have benefited more than 600,000 residents of Ensenada and San Quintin

These projects' goal is to improve the quality of life of all citizens

The government led by Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda has showed progress regarding road and building works carried out in the municipality of Ensenada, which are part of the projects that are meant to transform urban mobility for Baja Californians and their quality of life.

In her weekly Wednesday Morning Press Conference, the state governor explained that this program will positively impact the life of more than 600,000 Ensenada natives and San Quintin natives especially those who live remotely from urban centers with projects that will result in wellbeing for everyone.

"These are high-impact projects of great importance that will improve the quality of life of all the people in our state by reducing waiting times, the time that people spend in traffic. Our priority is that you don't spend all this time in a car, but at home and with your family and loved ones," she said.

Through the RESPIRA program, SIDURT, and the Urbanization Boards, an investment of more than 833 million pesos in 15 projects, which are 86% done, has been made.

Among these projects, she highlighted the 16 roads in several different spots in Ensenada and the conclusion of the modernization of the El Gallo Road Node; the Center for Criminal Justice; the Center for Childhood Development; the restoration of the Morelos Aqueduct; the modernization of CEARTE; the road at Islas de Cedros; and the restoration, pothole repair, and signage of roads in Valle de Guadalupe.

"In this second stage of our administration there are other projects that are focused on the poorest and most abandoned neighborhoods. They have been abandoned regarding water, sewers, paving, schools, and we are going to invest heavily in order to improve educational infrastructure and aid," she said.

Lastly, Marina del Pilar thanked the investment provided by the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, which helped them build these infrastructure projects, which result in wellbeing for people who need it the most.
