Discover "Papalote Bus Lúdico", a project by Daniel Garduño that promotes education for the children of Rosarito

This initiative proposed by Luis Daniel Garduño will benefit minors with some type of disability or learning disorder

Papalote Bus is a project dedicated to children with some type of disability or learning disorder. It is a space that embraces minors between the ages of 3 and 12 and encourages them to develop self-protection and self-care skills through games.

This initiative was proposed by the head of the Secretariat of Social Wellbeing and aspiring candidate for the mayor's office of Playas de Rosarito, Luis Daniel Garduño Espinoza, and it is a project with psychopedagogic aims that wishes to develop kids' skills so that they recognize and verbalize their feelings and emotions while also fostering relationships with other children of their age.

It is a space that promotes free activities through recreational companionship and there are several diverse materials that make learning easier by creating with tools and formative experiences that stimulate children's language and communication.

Papalote Bus allows them to learn through the use of materials to build and symbolic games which encourages children's imagination and makes education an enriching and entertaining process.

This project wants to assist different sectors of Playas de Rosarito by mainly providing these services to the most vulnerable families. The main places to which this bus will have access to will be orphanages, rural schools, children's homes, and remote communities.

The reading unit is handled by 2 entertaining promoters, one who is in charge and an assistant, both of whom will provide this service. These people are trained and qualified specialists in psychopedagogy, psychology, and education.

Who is Luis Daniel Garduño?

Born on July 18, 1993 in Mexico City, Luis Danuel Garduño lived the first years of his life in Monterrey and he subsequently moved to the municipality of Rosarito, Baja California.

He studied at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California (UABC), where he was the first Rosarito representative at Consejo Universitario UABC, managing the introduction of draining at the campus.

Since he was young, he has been interested in political issues and was a coordinator at the Secretariat of Social Development of Rosarito from 2015 to 2017.

After coordinating election campaigns in Rosarito on 2 occasions for current municipal president, Araceli Brown, Luis Garduño is currently the Secretary of Social Wellbeing of the 9th Municipal Administration of Rosarito and is planning to run as a candidate for the mayor's office of Rosarito in the 2024 elections.
