During the presentation of the Tijuana-Rosarito Interurban Train project on Sunday, September 4, it was revealed that Playas de Rosarito would end up building its own theme park. Though nothing was revealed about the “brand”, it was claimed that there only 2 other parks like it in the world.

Jesús Alfredo Acosta Gómez, JECA director and person in charge of the Interurban Train project, explained that in approximately 15 days the name of this theme park will be revealed, which will make Rosarito the third place in the world with this type of park.

“I’m going to give you a surprise. In about 15 days, it has been signed, and there’s a brand, but it is a world class theme park. There are only two parks like these in the world and this would be the third one,” he said during the presentation. As such, we will be on the lookout to see what kind of theme park this could be.

On the other hand, it is expected that the Tijuana-Rosarito Interurban Train reduces waiting times between Tijuana and Rosarito and attracts tourism, decreases pollution caused by hours in traffic, and creates jobs for Mexicans.

It should be noted that this train will have stations in places such as Agua Caliente, Rubí, Morelos, Madero, among others.
