Following the crisis caused by the new coronavirus, non-essential activities have been restricted, so tourism has declined throughout the country following restrictions to prevent further coronavirus infections.

• Americans can still cross the border and reach the airports of Baja California and Baja California Sur, even tourist airports.

• It is warned that there are almost no flights and these tend to change hours constantly.

• When arriving at the Baja California airports they will take your temperature, they do not ask for quarantine here at the moment of arrival.

• The hotels at the moment only allow to operate with 30% of their maximum capacity.

• If you plan to make your visit through Calexico, you should keep in mind that on weekends they install sanitary filters to ensure that people enter the city of Mexicali for essential purposes.

• Restaurants operate with a maximum capacity of 30% and it is recommended to make reservations to ensure a spot.
