One such example is Kirsten Medina, a young entrepreneur from Tijuana who founded Zoccia. In addition to her experience, she is also the CEO of Grupo RPM, a company that produces face masks.

From the beginning, Kirsten's intention with Zoccia was to create a 100% Mexican, high-quality brand that would be accessible to everyone. Zoccia offers casual-style swimsuits for men and women that can be worn in any situation, breaking the stereotype that swimsuits are only suitable for the beach or pool.

The main objective of this entrepreneur through her brand is to eliminate stereotypes that pigeonhole "sexy" into swimsuits, as there is much more to it than just looking attractive. It's about creating confidence in customers and showcasing an empowered and intelligent woman.

How did Zoccia come to be?

Zoccia was born when Kirsten was in high school, and she saw a future in selling swimsuits. Her desire to succeed and meet the needs of her market helped to position her brand among her acquaintances at that time.

Zoccia wants to eliminate all stereotypes of "perfect bodies" to make wearing a swimsuit a confident and comfortable experience for everyone.

What's the next challenge or goal?

As with any great business, the aim is to position Zoccia in Baja California and the southern United States, which can be easily achieved thanks to its location in the border city of Tijuana, where many ideals are shared.
