Governor Marina del Pilar, in cooperation with federal government, manages regularization of vehicles from Europe and Asia

This federal decree's goal is to obtain resources for paving and security in the state

Together with the government of Mexico, the governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar, has carried out the regularization of 7,500 vehicles from Europe and Asia since December 1, 2023.

The state governor stated that the state administration's priority is to address the maximum number of appointments at Vehicular Public Registry (REPUVE) spots and ensure the access to the benefits of this decree, which is a result from the social vision by the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

For his part, the Secretary of Finance of Baja California, Marco Antonio Moreno Mexía, revealed that 900 appointments take place every day at REPUVE spots statewide, with 70% of vehicles being ones whose VIN begins with a letter.

He added that, taking into account the origins of all vehicles, in Baja California, 324,795 vehicles from abroad have been regularized, providing certainty and security to the assets of Baja Californian families.

The state official emphasized that it is important to make an appointment on federal website: https://regularizaauto.sspc.gob.mx/, in order to schedule a date and time and also to check the requirements for the regularization of foreign vehicles.

Moreno Mexía called on people to not let this chance slip by in these last few days as the deadline is Sunday, December 31, as you will be able to celebrate the New Year with a registered asset which benefits owners of vehicles and their families.
