This event will gather some of the most distinguished chefs of Baja California and Mexico such as David Castro Hussong and pastry chef Maribel Aldaco, who have elevated the name of Fauna in haute cuisine, ranking #1 in all of Mexico, #5 in all of Latin America, and in the Top 50 of the best restaurants of 2024.

The Culinary Icons of Baja will also be attended by another awarded chef, Alfredo Villanueva of restaurant Villa Torél which has been placed as one of the best in Latin America, ranking #19 according to World's 50 Best.

In addition, wines will be carefully selected by star oenologist Lulú Martínez of Bruma Winery, who will be in charge of complementing each dish with the best wine labels of Valle de Guadalupe, ensuring a perfect harmony of flavors and aromas.

This event will take place on Thursday, June 27 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM where attendants will have the chance of enjoying an unforgettable evening under the lights of Culinary Garden in Rancho Valencia.

According to this event's schedule, [b]the reception will take place at 6:30 PM, but patrons will be able to enjoy the dinner with pairing, which will consist of several different dishes made with fresh, organic, and local ingredients, 1 hour later.

Dinner will be accompanied by a selected group of Bruma wines that will complement each dish, guaranteeing a perfect balance of flavors and scents. During this evening, guests will have the chance to interact with chefs and learn all about the processes behind every dish.

In addition, this event will have live music performed by Tijuana native singer Azzul Monraz, showing that The Culinary Icons of Baja not only stands out due to the state's gastronomic excellence but also because of the region's artistic talent.
