For the third time, you can enjoy "Tijuana al Fresco" from this Friday, November 27 to Sunday, December 28, 2020, according to Julián Palombo Saucedo, president of the Revolución Avenue Retailers Association.
Thanks to the permission of the authorities of this Baja California municipality, Revolución Avenue in Tijuana's Zona Centro will be closed to vehicular traffic in order to continue with this project, in which 18 restaurants will participate and will extend to the sidewalks.
From 12:00 noon to 11:00 p.m. from Friday to Sunday, "Tijuana al Fresco", will be ready to receive you with the best of the gastronomy of the region, but above all with the sanitary protocols for COVID-19, which will be reinforced, according to Julián Palombo.
Currently the capacity of access within restaurants is 40%, so by offering this service outdoors may increase by 10% more, said the president of the Merchants Association, who also mentioned that in addition to reviving the economy, it is estimated that 200 people will be hired, as was the case with past editions.
Saucedo added that this is a safe way to get out of confinement, since health authorities recommend that if they do not stay in their homes, they carry out activities outdoors or in ventilated areas.
