At the "Nos Toca Comunicar" morning press conference, Mayor Rocio Adame Muñoz of Playas de Rosarito announced that the city’s traditional 2024 Christmas Parade is scheduled for Sunday, December 15, at 5:30 PM along Bulevar Benito Juárez.

Mayor Adame Muñoz assured attendees that safety measures for this festive celebration will be coordinated by the Secretariat of Citizen Security and the Secretariat of Mobility and Transport.

“We invite the entire community to join us for the Christmas parade next Sunday,” the mayor said. “Many local businesses and clubs have come together to make this evening a magical experience. After the parade, we’ll host a special Christmas tree lighting ceremony.”

During the press conference, Mayor Rocio Adame also addressed other key topics, including the proposed 2025 Fiscal Year Revenue Law presented to the Honorable State Congress and the ongoing campaign offering 80% tax forgiveness.

The mayor highlighted the "16 Days of Activism" campaign against gender-based violence, carried out in collaboration with the Baja California Women’s Institute (INMUJER BC). She also emphasized the training provided to city personnel by the Baja California State Human Rights Commission (CEDHBC).

Another notable initiative discussed was the Christmas party organized by the Secretariat of Social Well-Being for students from preschool, elementary, and secondary schools in the Comunidad El Morro neighborhood. The Baja California Secretariat of Fishing and Aquaculture also participated, offering an educational workshop during the event.

Additionally, it was announced that the "5K Navidad con Tenis" race will be held prior to the Christmas Parade. The race will start and finish at the Playas de Rosarito City Hall.
