Christmas gets closer and closer every day and San Diego is all too aware of this, which is why several winter celebrations will be taking place in Balboa Park during its famous December Nights holiday festival.

From Christmas activities to international celebrations, Balboa Park December Nights will take place on Friday, December 6 from 3 PM to 11 PM and on Saturday, December 7 from 11 AM to 11 PM.

These will be two days full of Christmas fun! Enjoy all kinds of entertainment, activities, and Santa Claus himself in-person all in one place and completely free!

International Cottage Christmas Festival

Enjoy Hungarian culture during December Nights at the International Food Fair, featuring some of this country's most delicious gastronomy.

This will be an exhibit showcasing the best of Hungary's dishes, desserts, and wine. Some of the dishes you'll find here are:

• Magyar, Sütemények, Hungarian pastries

• Sült Kolbaz Parolt Kaposztaval, grilled sausages with bread and cabbage

• Forralt Bor es Palinka, spiced wine
