Preliminary results for the presidency of Mexico, municipal elections, congresspeople, and the senate from INE are clear. Baja California has shown a clear preference for the MORENA party.
The future president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, leads the presidency election with 58.90% of votes, and similar results have been given regarding the mayor's office of Tijuana in which Ismael Burgueño has an enormous advantage in comparison with the other candidates.
If counting stopped right now, Burgueño would have 58.39% of votes. These results are very hard to modify as 89.35% of ballots have been registered. So, it is most likely that his victory becomes official on Wednesday.
As such, if you don't know anything about Tijuana's future municipal president, we'll tell you here a little bit about him and some of the campaign proposals that he has made in the last few days.
