If you love nature and enjoy long hikes in calm places full of vegetation, you must visit the famous Cascada de Natura (Natura Waterfalls), located in the city of Tijuana.
This place has become more popular in the last few years, as it has wonderful trails for hiking fans, and during the rainy season, it is possible to witness a beautiful waterfall with a 25-meter-high fall.
It is the perfect place for those who want to enjoy the peace that direct contact with nature can provide. You will be able to find a variety of fauna, such as horses, bulls, cows, snakes, and rodents on the trail.
How to reach Cascada de Natura?
This natural paradise is perfect for those who enjoy long hikes, as access is prohibited for vehicles.
According to several users on the Facebook group "Hiking BC", the best way to get to this place is by public transportation. As such, you can get on one of the SITT cabs located in the 5y10 and Macroplaza areas.
These vehicles are white with orange stripes and have a small sign that says "Natura". Once get on, you must get off at the stop called Parque Amanecer.
It is important to note that once you reach Natura, the hiking trail is 4.7 kilometers (2.92 miles) long, which means it could take you between 10 to 20 minutes to reach the waterfall depending on your pace.
