The 24th Municipal Administration of Tijuana warns about the presence of high tide in Playas de Tijuana early this week, recommending people not to get in the sea or do any water activities.

The warning speaks about the presence of waves 2 to 3 meters high that could even reach 4 meters high; they come from the coasts of California with its effects occurring in southern California and Playas de Tijuana.

This condition is due to winter storms and the long-term atmospheric river phenomenon that has hit the state of California since early February. It continued last weekend with two storms that, though light, kept local authorities on alert due to possible floods and landslides.

Authorities of Tijuana advise people not to get in the sea to prevent risky situations.
