"An example of successful women in the government," MORENA congresswomen say about mayor Montserrat Caballero

Mayor Montserrat Caballero was present at the "Yo por las 40 horas laborales" forum reiterating her support with the working class

Mayor Montserrat Caballero was recognized for her work as the mayor of Tijuana by MORENA congresswomen, Susana Prieto Terrazas and Evangelina Moreno Guerra, who recognized her political career and her place in the Fourth Transformation.

The mayor went to the "Yo por las 40 horas laborales" forum on Saturday morning organized by federal representative Evangelina Moreno and the one who introduced the bill to reform article 123 of the Political Constitution of Mexico that proposes decreasing weekly working hours from 48 to 40 hours.

"Claudia Sheinbaum says that it is a time for women and right now there is tangible evidence that there are successful women in the government such as Montserrat Caballero, who has settled Tijuana's debt," Susana Prieto stated.

The congresswoman added that Caballero Ramírez is a companion in the struggle to defend the working class and highlighted that "how many years passed before we could have an indigenous and professional woman leading the city, let's not let her get away."

Mayor Montserrat Caballero thanked the invitation to this forum and the displays of affection by the congresswomen and attendants, reiterating her commitment with the working class of our border.

"We are with the working class, because we will continue to fight for their and their families' wellbeing," the mayor stated.
