The Municipal Administration of Tijuana, led by mayor Montserrat Caballero Ramírez, delivered a 4x4 vehicle to the Playas de Tijuana delegation in order to improve services for citizens. In addition, the Marriage Room was refurbished in order to offer a more proper space for couples who will celebrate here in one of the most important days of their life.

On Tuesday, mayor Montserrat Caballero Ramírez attended facilities of the Playas de Tijuana municipal delegation to formalize the delivery of this all-terrain pickup vehicle, which will be used by staff of Public Services to clean beaches that are used daily by the community.

The mayor said that in order to demand results from municipal workers, first, one has to give them the tools, and that is why they have strengthened equipment at delegations. In addition, they have also invested to improve facilities to benefit employees and the citizens who come here to receive public services.

"Citizens don't know that past irresponsible authorities never made these tools easy to get. That's why we are restructuring this. There is still a lot to be done, but we are making progress. We are committed with transforming our city but we have to start from home," Caballero Ramírez added.

The senior official of the 24th Municipal Administration of Tijuana, Marcelo de Jesús Machain Servín, explained that this all-terrain pickup truck represented an investment of 693,000 pesos, while the refurbishing of the offices at Civil Registry 04 cost a little bit more than 410,000 pesos.

This is because of the high level of attendance of people who come to the Civil Registry office. This is why they restructured and modified the assistance units, the cashier unit, and the Marriage Room. They are also working on a ramp for people with disabilities.

With these actions, the municipal government led by mayor Montserrat Caballero Ramírez reaffirms its commitment with Tijuana natives, by offering adequate facilities and better services to build a Tijuana for everyone.
