Immigrants and dog illegally cross the border wall in Playas de Tijuana

The dog followed the people it saw running through the border wall

Tijuana is the most visited border in the world by tourists, but it is also the busiest due to immigrants who are looking for the American Dream by crossing the border by any means necessary, whether legally or illegally.

Immigrants cross border wall in Playas de Tijuana

On Monday, September 25, a person was able to film a video in which a group of immigrants illegally crossed the Tijuana-San Diego border.

This occurred at the border wall in Playas de Tijuana, a place that is known for being visited by thousands of tourists who have loved ones on the other side of the border. Though illegal border crossings have been reported, this time something very interesting happened.

This video shared on TikTok, which has gone viral in less than a day, one can see approximately 6 immigrants running towards a space that had been set up for workers. They continued to run until they went through the area and into the other side, and alongside them, a medium-sized, light-colored dog followed them, innocently entering illegally into the United States.

The witnesses, who found the incident quite funny, could only say:

Even the dog!

Immigrants took advantage of the fact that construction work is being carried out in the area of the wall to enter illegally.

It should be noted that even though Title 42 was suspended in May 2023, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has warned that illegal crossings will be punished under Title 8, with penalties such as deportation, prosecution, and prohibition of admission into the United States for a period of 5 years.

On their website, they say:

Don’t put your life at risk by doing such a dangerous trip only to be deported. Legal migration pathways are the correct way to come to the United States. Those who aren’t citizens who are in the United States without authorization will be deported.

This incident occurred on the same day that Border Patrol agents arrested a group of approximately 40 immigrants, which had entered the United States at the level of the Playas de Tijuana entrance.

So far, it is unknown if these people were arrested or if they managed to pass undetected; similarly, there is no information about the whereabouts of the immigrant dog.
