He visited an OXXO located at Colonia Juárez where he asked for all of their tacos, tortas, and burritos with different stews

Gastronomy in Tijuana is undoubtedly very varied with several different restaurants, local shops, food trucks, and carts selling an endless number of products from corns, pizzas, tortas, ramen, sushi, and tacos. However, there are several opinions about them, because every palate is different and preferences vary.

On the other hand, something that a lot of people are not aware of is that these foods are available in self-service stores which have broadened their menu. An example of this is OXXO, which has a cart with tacos, tortas, burritos, and quesadillas with different stews with the name “O’Sabor”. A famous YouTuber known as “El Guzii” visited an OXXO to test their flavor and he got quite a surprise.

Guzii visited an OXXO located in Calle Brasil, Colonia Juárez (Cacho) in Tijuana where he claimed he would buy breakfast. However, he instead went big and decided to buy a taco, quesadillas, and tortas with all the available stews with some of the highlights being milanesa, chicken with mole, chicharron in red sauce, chicharron in green sauce, steaks with nopal, carne asada, birria, and more.

When he asked for them, he made a small competition where he asked the workers if they knew how much he would spend for this complete order. The person who got closest was the cashier who guessed $700 pesos. The total amount was $1,193.50 pesos which is the money he gave as a prize; the woman who cooked his order was given a $1000 peso tip in cash.

When he went to his studio, he tried all these dishes and was quite surprised because even though they were not exquisite, they had a very good flavor. Most of them got a rating of 3.5/5; the one who got the highest rating was the steak taco which got a 4.5; among the stews with the highest ratings there were the chicharron with red salsa and chicken with mole. Other dishes he tried were chilaquiles and tortas.
