"Corazón de Tijuana", movie that tells the story of the Chávez and "Maromero" Páez families, filmed in Tijuana

This movie will tell the stories of boxers Julio César Chávez and Jorge "El Maromero" Páez and their sons

"Corazón de Campeón" is the latest movie to be filmed in Tijuana. This film tells the story of two iconic boxers, Julio César Chávez and Jorge "El Maromero" Páez, and their sons who are carrying the weight of being the children of these Mexican boxing legends.

These two former boxers and their children, Jorge Luis Páez, Airam Páez, Julio César Chávez Jr., and Omar Chávez, will appear in the movie playing themselves. There will be a special appearance by Óscar Lopez, best known on social media as "El Compa Camarón".

This movie will portray the personal and professional lives of both boxers separately as we get to know some of their past and present stories which are so significant to Mexican sports history.

This movie will delve deeply on their careers and the personal challenges they have faced.

These are some of the locations where the movie was filmed: Baja Studios Rosarito, a gym at Colonia Libertad, the Municipal Auditorium, and the Xolos Tijuana Stadium.

It should be noted that this movie will be the last one to be filmed at Baja Studios Rosarito, which is known for being the place where some scenes of "Titanic" were filmed between September 1996 and March 1997.
