San Diego Trolley will work as usual on Christmas Eve and Christmas

MTS revealed this information

Both Christmas Eve and Christmas are dates in which people need to move from one place to the other for several reasons; either to get home in order to celebrate the holidays or to do some last-minute Christmas shopping. Although many people use cars, there are people who prefer using public transportation as they don’t have a private vehicle to move.

This is why we’ll tell you the plans by the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) regarding its transportation services. According to their website, on Saturday, December 24, most bus routes and the trolley will keep their regular Saturday schedule while the Sorrento Valley COASTER Connection, rural routes (888, 891, 892, and 894), Rapid Express routes (280 and 290), the Transit Store, and the customer service office will remain closed.

On this same day, the Information and Trip Planning office will be open from 7 AM to 5 PM, and the PRONTO Support Center will be open from 10 AM to 2 PM.

It should be noted that on Sunday, December 25, all trolley lines will be working every 30 minutes and most bus routes will have their Sunday schedule. On the other hand, the Sorrento Valley COASTER Connection, rural routes (888, 891, 892, and 894), Rapid Express routes (280 and 290), the Transit Store, the customer service office, the Information and Trip Planning office, and the PRONTO Support Center will remain closed.

If you’re thinking about using any of these services during the next two days, it is essential that you plan your routes ahead of time and be aware of their specific hours.
