Frank Di, Tijuana native singer, will compete at renowned Viña del Mar Festival

He will perform his song "La Última Gota"

Tijuana has incredible people full of talent in several different fields such as singing, and a young man from this city will be a part of the Viña del Mar festival where he will face off against 5 other contestants from other Latin American countries.

Frank Di, the young Tijuana native singer, has shared on social media that he will be a part of the biggest Latin American festival in the world: Festival Viña 23 in the Folklore Competition category.

Frank will perform his song “La Última Gota” where he is looking to represent Mexican folklore through mariachi. In this competition he will face off against representatives of Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Panama, and Peru in order to win the award known as Gaviota de Plata (The Silver Seagull).

Frank Di shared the following, announcing his participation at this festival:

I’m very excited for being able to represent my country at the Biggest Latin American Festival in the world Festival de Viña with a song that without a doubt represents folklore with MARIACHI, representing Mexico with indifference and tequila. TIJUANA, I WILL ALWAYS WANT TO HONOR YOUR NAME!”

The festival will take place from February 19 to February 24, 2023 in Chile; it will be broadcasted through streaming platform Star+.
