American baby is found with his father in Playas de Rosarito

An Amber Alert was issued to locate the seven-month-old child

Through a message shared by the Attorney General Office of Baja California (FGE), it was revealed that 7-month-old baby Valentina Sabean had been located at Playas de Rosarito after having been missing for almost two months and after her mother was found dead in Tijuana.

According to authorities, Valentina was found in good health condition at Colonia Héroes de la Reforma located in the municipality of Playas de Rosarito. The baby was found with her father Paul, who is the main suspect in Raquel’s, his wife and Valentina’s mother, death; which is why he was turned over to American authorities.

Valentina Sabean had last been seen on April 17, 2022 with her parents, Raquel Sabean and Paul W. PH after crossing the border to Tijuana, Baja California. On May 31st, the decomposed body of Raquel was found in Tijuana inside of a car, wrapped in a white blanket.

On June an Amber Alert was issued in order to locate the child from San Diego, in Tijuana and the entirety of Baja California. To help with the rescue, Mexican and US authorities worked together in order to search exhaustively, a process that ended on June 15.
