Every month, several public opinion research trackers such as Mitofsky reveal the approval ratings of different state authorities. In the month of April, Baja Californian Governor, Marina del Pilar Ávila was ranked among the first places of this ranking.

The governor’s approval rating ranking is one of many Mitofsky categories that are tracked. In this ranking, Marina del Pilar has been ranked 5th place with a 59.20% approval rating by her state’s population.

It should be noted that last month, Marina del Pilar was ranked 1st place among the best rated female governors with an approval rating of 59%. Mitfosky analyst, Roy Campos, stated that in 2022 Marina del Pilar has remained in the top 5 of best governors, always with an approval rating ranging between 59% and 60%.

That Marina del Pilar has this level of approval ratings in Baja California is a reflection of her administration’s accomplishments such as helping foster homes’ children, supporting Baja Californian young people, and her constant encouragement that all families in the state get vaccinated against Covid-19.

Other Baja Californian politicians and authorities were mentioned in this research such as Mexicali mayor, Norma Bustamante which is ranked #15 with a 55.3% approval rating and Ensenada mayor, Armando Ayala, ranked #17 with 54.7%. It should be noted that Mexican President, Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s approval rating was 64.1% among the Baja Californian population.
