Baja Window to the South’s guests reveal every episode all of the attractions that Baja California has to offer American tourists who visit daily different locations looking for unforgettable experiences.
To reveal more of the incredible events that are happening in Baja California, Kris Magnussen of Lechuza Vineyard was present. This business opened in 2015 and its wines can be found in The French Laundry, a Michelin 3-star restaurant located in California.
Magnussen spoke about the XXII Festival de las Conchas y el Vino Nuevo (12th Festival of Seafood and New Wine), which is an event that allows wineries to showcase their new wines to society at large for the first time. Some of these wines don’t even have labels for these are sometimes new products that are just about to be launched and sold.
In total, more than 80 wineries with more than 150 wine labels, 50 restaurants with gastronomic samples (with fresh products such as oysters, mussels, and clams), and 20 seashell producers will all be present at the event. Talent from all over Baja California will be fused here from Ensenada to Valle de Guadalupe. This event will take place on May 1st, 2022, at Hotel Coral & Marina in Ensenada.
Wine is not the only thing promoted at this event. Gastronomy, another key element in Baja Californian culture, will also be present since both producers and renowned chefs and wineries will join forces to create spectacular menus to create a unique experience in the palates of all attendees.
