One of the tacos of Restaurante ONO distinguishes itself for its guacamole and dressing

The spicy thousand island dressing surprised Chef Danny

In this new episode of Una Mordida Tacos Rosarito, renowned Chef Danny Betancourt went to “Restaurante ONO” located in Blvd. Popotla, corner with Leonardo in Rosarito. This time he was able to try to two tacos; the shrimp wasn’t the best, but he did highlight the guacamole and dressing in one of the tacos. Read down below to find out which one!

Shrimp Taco

Chef Betancourt said that the taco has shrimp along with its traditional cabbage, pico de gallo, cream, cheese, and is served with a slice of cucumber. The normal-sized white tortilla did not surprise Chef Danny, but he did acknowledge its corn flavor which was a plus. He spoke about how the flavors of vegetables and the fatty cheese dominated the taco, but the shrimp’s flavor left much to be desired due to its buttery taste. He said that another sauce would have given it much better flavor. This taco gets a rating of 6.9.

Price: $2 dollars (40 pesos)

Chicken Taco

This chicken taco surprised Chef Danny because he didn’t think that the thousand island dressing would have a spicy-sweet flavor where you can taste both. The taco has chicken and guacamole, and he emphasized that the dressing and the guacamole are the things that distinguish this taco and make it interesting, despite the chicken’s simple flavor. This taco gets a rating of 7.8.

Price: $1.5 dollars (30 pesos)
