The Marina del Pilar administration attended a meeting this Saturday February 12 where several issues were talked about regarding the prevention of social violence and crime in the state. They also spoke about improving the working outlines between the Secretariat of Citizen Safety of Baja California (SSCBC) and the Executive Secretariat of the National System of Public Security (SESNP).

Both branches of government agreed on the importance of crime prevention as a way to achieve peace in each and every community. The meeting allowed both sides to find common ground in viewpoints and actions within this issue.

Additionally, both sides spoke about more concrete matters like tackling phone extortions and kidnapping prevention. In both issues, thanks to the support of the National Coordination Against Kidnapping and the creation of the State Center of Social Violence and Crime Prevention, the foundations are being laid to standardize public policy and appropriate actions.
