The 7 restaurants you must visit in Valle de Guadalupe: according to U.S. magazine

The Valle de Guadalupe not only offers the best wine in the country, but also has an outstanding gastronomy

The famous lifestyle magazine, GQ in Spanish shared its selection of the best restaurants to eat in the Valle de Guadalupe, accompanied by a small review/opinion of each place.

The first recognized restaurant is Animalón, a restaurant located under a 200 year old oak tree, which is only open from April to November, where the cuisine is seasonal, with products from Baja, including the catch of the day and where wine is never absent. They have a fine dining style menu of 5 or 8 courses with the option of wine pairing, and the lobster noodles, kampachi toast, smoked duck breasts and more stand out.

Deckman's at the Mogor

A family business transformed into a restaurant, located in the Mogor Badan winery, where the main commitment is to get the best product, free of chemicals and pesticides, and as fresh as possible by taking into account the time of transport of each ingredient, to transform it into the classic dishes of the place: oysters, quail, rib-eye; that they offer to their diners. They have a team working with the same philosophy, taking care of every detail of the culinary identity of Baja California.

Baja Omakase

Also located in Mogor Badan, with 12 seats under a tree and 3 bars, Omakase offers a 17-course menu with exclusively Baja California products, without offering tuna or salmon, but plenty of fresh fish. The only 2 hours in which you can experience the Omakase experience are at noon and 5:00 p.m.

Fauna and Bruma

Fauna, located inside the Bruma winery, offers an informal and unpretentious menu, using local produce and transforming it into sweet, salty, sour dishes with different textures, where the goal is to bring the food to the center and share, accompanied by music that invites you to stay and enjoy the evening. The recommendation is to choose the ''Festín'' to know what Fauna has to offer.

A simple proposal that has earned a place in the Valley, authentic food, completely frank where the product speaks for itself, with colorful dishes that please the eye and even more the palate, all under a place where you can admire the scenery or the stars depending on the schedule in which you attend.

Using mostly products from the Mina Penelope ranch when cooking, it offers dishes such as mushrooms with black garlic, aioli and caramelized onion, school fish with harissa and carrots, dishes that everyone should try when visiting the Valley, as well as a menu of 4 or 8 courses.

Villa Torél

Within the San Antonio de las Mina Vineyard lies this restaurant connected to the family history of its creators, in addition to teamwork and love for gastronomy, Villa Torél offers an intimate space where its chefs invite you to enjoy the surroundings, with a view of the Santo Tomás wineries, the dishes and desserts they have to offer are a guaranteed trip to a moment of childhood or life.
