Today, Plaza Rio announced through its social media that it will not hold its traditional Halloween events this year. This, according to what they expressed in the publication, is due to the coronavirus pandemic that affects our region.

So far, according to the plaza, there are no plans to close stores as it happened months ago, but they will be attentive to the instructions of health authorities.

This is due to the fact that there is an increase in the number of cases of coronavirus in Tijuana. And according to information provided by the Baja California Secretary of Health, Zona Rio is one of the locations with the highest concentration of COVID-19 active cases.

So far, Baja California is in orange and Tijuana, until today's cut, registers 103 cases of active coronavirus, concentrated in the Camino Verde, Zona Rio, Paseos del Vergel, Las Delicias and Villas del Prado neighborhoods.
