The renowned doctor Roberto Milanez Ramirez died today due to COVID-19 complications.

Widely recognized in the region for performing ultrasounds on thousands of pregnant women for many years, including my mother, my wife and several friends, the respected specialist who attended in Zona Centro was characterized by his taste for dancing, singing and his jovial air.

Through social media, one of his children told the news:

With an enormous pain in the heart and a void in the soul. I inform you of the death of our father, Dr Roberto Milanez Ramirez. He left a great legacy with his teachings. It will be our job to continue. I thank each of his friends and acquaintances who kept him in their prayers throughout this sad period. But we know that Dad is in a better place, in peace, without pain and surrounded by his loved ones and friends who went ahead of him. He was a person who touched many people. Always seeking to help anyone who needed to extend the hand of friendship and support. A great father, grandfather, doctor, colleague, teacher, friend, but above all a great human being. We thank God for all the years that he allowed us to have him with us

The doctor was hospitalized in Clinic 1 of the IMSS and for days he required a blood transfusion due to the loss of platelets through hemodialysis.

He will always be remembered with great affection. Rest in peace.
