Good news for Ensenada residents: today the Ensenada Government informed through its official website that one of its beaches will be open only for athletic activities such as running, walking and surfing.

Playa Hermosa is the beach that you will find open from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m. According to the Federal Maritime and Land Zone (Zofemat) coordinator, Hernán King Espinoza, those who wish to carry out activities will be able to do so, but will have a time limit of two hours to carry out their activities.

They also said that it will be "absolutely necessary to leave the beach as soon as the activity is over". Similarly, he also reported that all those who are out of water should wear masks, have antibacterial gel and avoid physical contact.

The official emphasized that commercial activities (both buying and selling), bringing in furniture, vehicles, and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. He emphasized that after 9:00 a.m. the beach will be closed for all activities.
