Ice skating has become one of the most anticipated autumn-winter activities for many, as it is a fun option for children and adults alike.

That's why we want to tell you all about two of the best ice rinks in San Diego that have just announced they are opening in the next few days. Don't miss them!

Rady Children's Hospital at Liberty Station

The Rady Children's Hospital ice rinks will open starting November 21st, aiming to raise funds for the Peckham Center's Thriving After Cancer program.

For the 27th year in a row, this ice rink will offer fun for all ages and will be available until January 5, 2025.

Located at Central Promenade in the Arts District Liberty Station, this ice rink will be open from Monday through Sunday from 10 AM to 10 PM. There will be special hours on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Eve.

Admission is $20 dollars per adult and $15 dollars for children 12 years of age or younger and military. It should be noted that skates are included with this price.

Skate by the Sea - Hotel del Coronado

Another fun option to support a good cause: Skate by the Sea at Hotel Coronado will raise funds for Make-A-Wish San Diego to help children who have been diagnosed with terminal diseases, such as cancer, make their wishes come true.

This ice rink will open from November 21 to January 5, 2025.

General admission is $40 dollars and it includes skates and 90 minutes on ice. Special discounts available for hotel guests and military.
