Today, the Government of Mulege shared via their Facebook account, that it will be implementing new measures to curb the spread of coronavirus in the region. The message was aimed primarily at merchants and service providers in the county.
The message called on owners and managers of commercial businesses to implement relevant sanitary measures, such as requiring workers and customers to wear masks, in addition to placing hand sanitizers in dispensers at key points in the buildings.
They also require a mat with water and chlorine, encourage safe distancing and, above all, comply with the established closing time of 10 p.m. This curfew will be applied from today. According to the Mayor of Mulege, Felipe Prado Bautista:
"The decision is to limit mobility from 10 p.m., except for essential purposes, and the sale of alcohol will also be prohibited. So far the county has 157 active cases, but with these measures they seek to reduce the number of infections for the following weeks".
"Any person circulating after 10 p.m. will be sent to police stations".
