As part of Mexico’s traditions and specifically of Catholic believers, on February 26, Ash Wednesday began and so did Lent.

In Lent, according to the Catholic church, fasting and prayer should be done, as something symbolic of what Jesus Christ did in the desert.

In addition, Lent lasts for 40 days, except for Sundays and it is said that meat should be avoided.

If you are a meat lover and also a Catholic, we present some seafood restaurants in which you can survive Lent in Tijuana.

1. Wicho’s

This famous place in Tijuana, located on Blvd Díaz Ordaz 949 La Mesa, 22105, has a menu ready to satisfy you on any date. Despite always having a good atmosphere, one of your tacos may come with a touch of the well-known La Perrona Sauce, created by one of its collaborators.
