2017 state transparency week

Transparency is an instrument that allows government to recuperate a level of trust from its citizens

The State of Baja California Transparency, Access to Public Information and Personal Data Protection Institute (ITAIPBC, for its initials in Spanish) successfully put together the 2017 State Transparency Week. Public servants, transparency unit holders, transparency liaisons and communication media were present.

To honor this week, activities took place over three days with guests such as Deputy Irais Vazquez Aguiar, who presented “The Right to Privacy and Personal Data Protection in Harmony with the Right to Access Information.” In addition, the Presentation Secretary of the National Transparency and Access to Public Information Institute (INAI, for its initials in Spanish), Gabriel Montes Marquez presented “Implementation of the Personal Data Protection Law in Possession of Entities Regulated” to explain the precedents, characteristics and changes that have occurred since the national and state personal data protection laws in possession of entities regulated took place.

During the second day of activities, the INAI commissioner, Oscar Guerra Ford, was invited.
