"Border Psycho" Brewery Opens New Tap Room on Avenida Revolución

"Border Psycho", one of the most representative breweries in the city, arrived at Avenida Revolución in Tijuana, adding to the growing offer of breweries in the downtown area.

After three months of hard work in the remodeling of the new location, located between Second and Third Street on the "Revu", the new Border Psycho tap room opened their doors on Friday Dec. 8.

In its "canteen" concept, the brewery will provide all the flavor of its beers, in addition to having a kitchen service that will renew its menu with more food proposals. They will also include national liquor: such as mezcal, sotol, and rum.

A total of 16 taps of their beers will be available, as well as national craft beers from Monterrey and Colima, to name a few, as well as others from Baja California; all of this to support the craft beer industry in the state.

This new place on Avenida Revolución will mean offering a new opportunity for craft beer enthusiasts.

The concept they have worked with at Plaza Fiesta (Their first location) is present in this new place, which aesthetic changes were minimal so they could take advantage of the structure of what used to be the space of a fast food restaurant.

Art and Border Psycho

The new space of the brewery will adopt a space dedicated to local art.

The work of local artists whose work is intimately linked to the city will be highlighted on its walls, as is the first exhibition on the walls.

"Tijuana retro" by the artist Sergio Toledo, is the exhibition that rescues the icons of the city of Tijuana that have faded over time.

With this exhibition, which will be available until the month of February is expected that people can, while having a beer, appreciate, enjoy and discuss local art.
