With the goal of identifying areas of opportunity to promote the attraction of new investments and the expansion of local industry, Senators Ernesto Ruffo Appel and Victor Hermosillo y Celada participated in the bimonthly Tijuana Economic and Industrial Development Meeting (DEITAC).

Other guests were invited to get to know the industrial topic, such as Deputy Maria Luisa Sanchez and Deputies Maximiliano Garcia and Teodoro Barraza.

The president of DEITAC, Cristina Hermosillo, commented that the objective of inviting the recently elected legislators is to turn their commitment into actions that promote advanced manufacturing in Baja California, particularly in Tijuana.

Senator Ernesto Ruffo Appel started his participation declaring that national economic circumstances are in severe decline.

"The global Mexico of 3,500 companies is responsible for 45% of the GDP and 50% of workers," he said before touching upon IMMEX companies. "The new reforms regarding certified companies were generated by Mexican exporting companies who were stealing VAT, this is clear as water. These companies are from the country's center and are friends of the oligarchy, which is where campaign money comes from," he sustained.

Finally, he said... Continue reading article here
