SAN DIEGO, CA.- Jamaal Franklin, guard for the San Diego State Aztec basketball team will be leaving the team to be enrolled in the next NBA draft. He is currently in his sophomore year at SDSU, but all indications show that he will be competing in the best basketball league in the world next season.
He participated in the first three victories for San Diego State in the NCAA tournament. These were the school's first ever victories. He was also the best player in the entire conference during his second year.
Franklin is known for his aggressiveness in one-on-one duels. On top of his good night and ability to rise high to win rebounds.
During the NCAA tournament Jamaal maintained an average of 17 points per game, nine rebounds, three assists, and one steal per game. These kind of numbers have made it clear that Franklin has a big and bright future ahead of him at the highest levels.
It is expected that Jamaal Franklin be taken in the second round of the NBA draft. A similar case to Franklin was that of Kawhi Leonard who also left college basketball after his sophomore year and now plays for the San Antonio Spurs.
