Living in a border city has its pros and cons. On one hand, people with visas or documentation can visit the US whenever they want, but on the other hand, the traffic created by waiting in line can be quite annoying. And in these lines, unexpected and even funny situations that one would never expect can occur.

On social media, a couple of photos showing a dog atop a truck’s roof crossing the Eagle Pass-Piedras Negras international port of entry went viral.
This funny scene did not go unnoticed by drivers who took some pictures and shared them online.
According to witnesses, the dog was able to cross without problems to the US, though it is unknown if border agents asked the driver to transport it in a safer way.
It is also unclear whether the dog belongs to the family who was driving the truck or if it's a stray dog that climbed without the driver noticing.
For now, users on social media just want to know if the dog made it home safe and sound. If he has no home, they at least hope that it could be adopted in the United States by a loving family.
