Azteca Ferries is about to launch a new maritime route that will unite the cities of Ensenada and San Diego, offering an efficient and comfortable option for those who want to cross the border and avoid long waiting lines at the port of entry.
This ferry has capacity for 300 passengers and it will be an excellent alternative for those who wish to go as tourists or take business trips.
What are the times of the Ensenada-San Diego ferry?
Though one cannot buy tickets still, times are already available at the Azteca Ferries website and they are the following:
- Times from San Diego to Ensenada will be from 11:30 to 14:30 and from 19:00 to 21:30
- Times from Ensenada to San Diego will be from 7:00 to 9:30 and from 15:00 to 17:30.

Prices of the Ensenada-San Diego ferry
Though exact prices haven't been determined, it is estimated that one single boat trip may cost around $70 dollars, while a round trip may cost around $130 dollars.
Special prices are expected for children who are 12 years old or younger and seniors 60 years old or older, according to the official website.

Azteca Ferries, presided by navy engineer Francisco Anda S., is currently building a modern ship that will offer comfort during the trip.
