Ismael Burgueño registers as MORENA candidate for the mayor's office of Tijuana at IEEBC

Aspiring candidates for different municipal presidencies of the "Sigamos Haciendo Historia por Baja California" coalition have already registered before electoral authorities

The "Sigamos Haciendo Historia en Baja California" coalition, consisting of the Movimiento Regeneración Nacional (MORENA), Partido Verde Ecologista de México (PVEM), and Fuerza por México (FXM) parties, registered their candidates today for the mayor's offices of Baja California. Among them, there is the candidate for the municipal presidency of Tijuana, Ismael Burgueño Ruiz.

With support from these parties and citizens, the MORENA candidate expressed his gratitude for the chance that this brings, recognizing the daily efforts by citizens and promising to follow Fourth Transformation principles.

"This is the transformation that we are carrying out, since our President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, took office, where the people sent him to where he is today. The other day I was told, finally you're getting justice, Burgueño, and I said: My dream was achieved when Andrés Manuel became president of Mexico. Everything else is a result of what comes after those good times, what is coming for our country. That's why I tell you, the dream already began when our president started governing Mexico, but today I admire, respect, and recognize the character and the acumen that the one who represents us currently has and the person who has taken the baton, the one who will lead our Mexico next, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo."

He also recognized our Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda who he said was "a life example and she will always have here someone who will help her at all times through this transformation," he claimed.

Party delegates of MORENA, Catalino Zavala Nuñez, PVEM, Luisa Fernanda Zuccoli, and the leader of FXM, Diego Arregui, were also present.

At this event, aspiring candidates for the mayor's offices of Baja California also registered: for Ensenada, Claudia Josefina Agatón Muñiz; for Tecate, Román Cota Muñoz; for San Quintín, Miriam Cano Nuñez; for San Felipe, José Dagnino López; for Mexicali, Norma Bustamante, and for Playas de Rosarito, Rocío Adame Muñoz.

These are prepared candidates with experience in politics, who are also part of the gender ratio that the law demands, and with all the eagerness to not only win, but to play a good role as rulers that serve the citizenship.

In his speech, the Council President of the State Electoral Institute, Luis Alberto Hernández Morales, said: "Yesterday we were witnesses of the first presidential debate. The proposals and the blunt commitment with those who have the least, with the people of Mexico, with inclusivity, with diversity, and rights for everyone were made clear."
