Dayana Acosta, a Mexicali native young woman, who has made an impact with her incredible talent as an accordionist and singer will have the opportunity to represent the city of Colombia in a few months. It makes us proud!

The girl was invited to inaugurate the Festival del Encuentro Vallenato Femenino (EVAFE) known as the 2023 Women's Festival in the city of Valledupar in Colombia. This opportunity occurred after participating in Monterrey, where she won 1st place in the Women's Regional Accordion Competition.

Festival EVAFE will take place on November 3. In order to raise funds, on September 9, Dayana's friends and family will organize an event with an endless number of options to enjoy such as carne asada, chicken, and tripe tacos, made by her parents, as well as shrimp burritos. They are also inviting musicians of the city to sing songs to support her in case they wish to do so.

According to advertising shared by the singer, there will be a huge menu and activities which you will be able to buy and participate in. The goal of this event is to raise funds since plane tickets cost around 100,000 Mexican pesos, as her parents will go with her, and it will also include travel expenses and other things.

So far, there are around 34 groups and local establishments that will be part of this event in order to uplift Baja Californian talent.

The raising of funds and party in honor of Dayana Acosta will be at her home located in Calle Bahía Calamajue and Avenida Mulegé in Colonia Revolución. It will begin at 9 AM and will end at 8 PM.
