"Tacos La Postal" in Tijuana gets a 7.9 due to their classic suadero taco

Chef Danny Betancourt tried the famous suadero tacos at Colonia Postal in the latest edition of Una Mordida Tacos Tijuana

On this new episode of Una Mordida Tacos Tijuana, Chef Danny Betancourt went to “Taquería La Postal" located at Calzada Defensores de Baja California 217, Colonia Buena Vista to try some popular suadero and head tacos at this taqueria which has the same name as this neighborhood.

Suadero Taco

This suadero taco is this taqueria’s specialty. According to Chef Danny, this taco gets a rating of 7.9. He said that, to his liking, the meat needed to be cooked a little bit more, though it did not lose any flavor. The tortilla, which was humidified with the suadero grease, gave the taco a soft texture and also enhanced its flavor. The tacos were served with cilantro and onion. Each taco is priced at $1.5 dollars ($30 pesos).

Head Taco

The head taco got a better rating as it had a better combination between its sauce and its meat; it should be noted that the salsa used for the suadero taco was too spicy for Chef Danny. This head taco’s tortilla was steamed, in contrast with the suadero taco, giving the meat a different texture and flavor. This taco was the winner between both tacod which is why it gets a rating of 8.3. Just like the previous taco, the meat was served with coriander and onion. This taco is priced at $1.5 dollars ($30 pesos).

“Tacos La Postal” are famous to everyone who lives in this neighborhood, especially thanks to their suadero taco and the particular way in which they are made. Each taco costs $1.5 dollars ($30 pesos).
