The state director of the Technical Professional Education Colleges of Baja California (CONALEP) in Ensenada, Irma Martínez Manríquez, revealed the inclusion of students to the “Bécalos 2022” fundraiser in order to bring more opportunities for children and young people so that they can continue studying.
She also mentioned that this non-profit activity is dedicated to supporting public school students and teachers. It encompasses different educational subsystems in order to diminish dropout rates, improve quality, and contribute to more educational equality in the country.
Martínez Manríquez said that this fundraiser will be carried out in the 6 schools included in CONALEP Baja California to raise awareness in young people about the importance of collaborative work. This is in order to support students that wish to overcome themselves personally, academically, and professionally to achieve their life projects which contributes, undoubtedly, to everyone’s well-being.
At the school’s facilities, CONALEP Ensenada Director, Tadeo Javier Meza Quintero, delivered piggy banks to students who are participating in this activity.
