In the Gordon, Gino, and Fred: Road Trip show, they visit several different parts of the world where they live an endless number of adventures and taste a great variety of dishes. As part of their Ensenada trip, on February 11 they went to a quite famous restaurant in which it is stated they serve the best scrambled eggs in the world.

This place is La Cocina de Doña Esthela, located in Valle de Guadalupe. This restaurant was awarded with the title of “The Best Restaurant in the World” by the magazine and application FoodieHub in 2015. Their awarded dish was dried shredded beef with eggs and refried beans.

Ramsay, D’Acampo, and Siriex arrived to this famous restaurant and ordered this famous dish that is also served with recently handmade tortillas. The three celebrities were astonished due to the flavor and finding out that Doña Esthela tends to serve around 2,000 customers on a regular Sunday.

Ramsey stated the following, even after claiming that he himself makes the best eggs:

La Cocina de Doña Esthela is known among celebrities, influencers, and more people. One recent example is the visit by chef and TikToker Ara y Punto who makes funny reviews of Mexican restaurants. However, when he tried different dishes at this restaurant he was pleasantly surprised. He tried an egg with dried shredded beef burrito, lamb broth, charred lamb, pork rind quesadilla, gorditas, and corn hot cakes, acknowledging the great flavor of all of these breakfasts.

This is not the first time that Gordon Ramsay has visited Baja California. Tijuana has been a part of his trips and he has been in Tijuana restaurants such as La Justina and has prepared Mexican recipes in his own style like his own version of a chorizo torta which was filmed in a building in Tijuana. He also rode a famous red and cream calafia (small bus) during this visit.
