There are hundreds of ideal places to visit during the Christmas season, but there are a few that stand out at best during certain times of the year, and Tecate, a municipality in Baja California, has been named as "Town to Spend Christmas in Mexico."

This is part of a list called "Towns to spend Christmas in Mexico", this shows six towns belonging to the country where specific celebrations or events that make them stand out from other Mexican communities stand out.

According to "Where to Go," Tecate is known for its Parade of Lights, in which allegorical automobiles are exhibited with hundreds of Christmas lights on the outside, some of which include striking images such as reindeer, bears, and Santa Claus, among others. This procession draws hundreds of visitors every first Saturday in December, but you must be aware of the Tecate Tourism Secretariat's announcements this year.

The other five towns mentioned are Oaxaca, Oaxaca with its Night of the Radishes, where different sculptures are made with radishes, cauliflowers, totomoxtle, and other vegetables. San Miguel de Allende is known for its gorgeous streets and residences, as well as posadas, Christmas carols, and shepherds. Acolman, State of Mexico, is noted for being the birthplace of the classic seven-cornered piñata and the piñata Festival when more than 50 piñata artists display their masterpieces.

Climbing El Chepe in Creel, Chihuahua will give you a white Christmas, with snow-covered cottages, walkways, and trees. Last but not least, in Val'Quirico, Tlaxcala, you may admire its Christmas tree as well as its illuminated walks, stars, and hanging poinsettias.
