A few days ago, Travel and Leisure magazine, dedicated to visiting and getting to know the best destinations in the world, published that the best place to see this year is undoubtedly Mexico. The judges of this election were looking for open spaces, illuminated and relaxed.

Naturally, Mexico, known for its beautiful and different scenarios, was one of the first places they thought of since Mexico is full of beautiful beaches, towns filled with history. In addition to having monumental tourist attractions, so when judges decided, our country was named the Destination of the year.

“No other place filled the expectations quite like Mexico, but there is more to the country than stunning beaches and exclusive resorts. Here, we celebrate it regional nuances and hidden gems, the fascinating cultures, crafts, and cuisine that make it worthy of our annual award.” The magazine shared on their official page.

In addition to this, several Mexican hotels were awarded to the list of 100 best hotels in the world. Among those that stood out, two are from Baja California Sur, called Las Ventanas al Paraíso located in San José de Cabo, and Zadun, a Ritz Carlton Reserve, in San José.

On the other hand, the same medium recently published that Rancho La Puerta, which is located in Tecate, won the best spa in the world. This space is located in Baja, California, and has 4 thousand acres, including 40 miles of hiking trails and 32 acres of beautiful gardens.

There is no doubt that Mexico has hidden gems and quite an array of beauties for all tastes, from lonely hidden beaches to towns full of magic and traditions, so hopefully, it will continue to be on the radar for tourists from all over the world, tourist willing to know the country’s multifaceted side.
