Every week, the Rosarito Tourism and Conventions Committee (COTUCO being the acronym in Spanish) brings you the Top 5 different gastronomical routes you can take in the city, so these food and drink establishments get some publicity as well as promoting local consumption for the city of Rosarito. In each one of these routes there will be five of the best gastronomical functions for you to try.

In this edition, COTUCO presents “The Beer Route”, the ideal partner for endless types of food. Here you’ll find a wide range of options that go from light or dark beer to all parts of the Ale, Lager, Porter, Stout family or even wheat beer so it’s only up to you to pick the one you like the most.

Cervecería G&G

Located in Gral. Guadalupe Victoria 315, Hacienda Floresta del Mar, 22703, this brewery is 100% regional with a big menu that offers multiple types of artisan beer, mixology and food like boneless wings, carne asada nachos, burgers and pizzas from woodfire that accompany the drinks quite well, we recommend the meaty or pressed chicharron pizza. This establishment is open Tuesday to Sunday from 12pm to 11pm while the close at 2am Friday and Saturday.

Cervecería Tinta Negra

This brewery offers a great variety of beer coming from almost all of Baja California, you can find some from Tijuana, Ensenada, Mexicali and of course Rosarito. Located in Food Fest inside of Premier Plaza Hotel in Blvd. Benito Juárez, Playas Rosarito, 22710. Besides beer, this establishment has tortas, burgers, pizza and more for sale. You can find it open daily from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Cervecería Delliott’s

Another one of the recommended stops in this Rosarito Beer Route is “Cervecería Delliott’s” located in Hermenegildo Cuenca Diaz, 22710, right in front of Castillos del Mar Hotel. This brewery has beer from Baja California, Sonora, and California, within its food catalogue it has nachos, pizza y much more like their Rib Tuesday making it a must stop whenever you’re nearby. You can come around from Thursday to Saturday from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm and Sunday to Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 8:00pm.

KM. 31 Barber Shop & Tasting Room

There’s no better experience than getting a nice clean gentlemen’s cut while enjoying a great beer, KM. 31 Barber Shop & Tasting Room has made this a reality by offering barber shop services and a great variety of artisan beer and to top it off they have food coming from “Rincón Pizzería”. Here you’ll live an experience like no other! You can find this place at the kilometer 31 mark of the Tijuana-Ensenada freeway in Rosarito Fracc, La Barca, 22710. Come by Monday thru Thursday from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm, Friday and Saturday from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm and Sunday from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Cervecería Colectivo Surf

The fifth and final stop, but not least important in this Beer Route is “Cervecería Colectivo Surf” located at the kilometer 41 mark of the Tijuana-Ensenada freeway. This spot is 100% from Rosarito and offers more than 15 styles of beer, but that is not all because its other specialty is sushi by providing a wide range of different dishes such as nigiris, rolls, and sushi cones, they even have sheep burgers, all made from fresh ingredients. Don’t miss out on this great sushi and beer combo, you can visit this place from Sunday to Thursday 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm or Friday and Saturday from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
