U.S. tourists wait in line for hours to enter Tijuana

Due to Labor Day, a holiday in the United States, long lines of U.S. motorists coming to Tijuana to spend the weekend on the Mexican side of the border began to be observed on Saturday morning.

For his part, Julián Palombo, President of Tourist Merchants of Tijuana, A.C., said that due to this date, they have high economic expectations, since they foresee a possible increase in sales of up to 35%

It is worth mentioning that, according to the latest report on coronavirus by the Baja California Secretariat of Health, today in Mexicali there are 477 active cases, in Tijuana 381, in Ensenada 177, in Tecate 61, in San Quintin 51, in Rosarito 39 and in San Felipe three; adding up to a total of one thousand 189 in the state.
