Tijuana authorities informed that through the Municipal Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPCM), security and surveillance will be provided to the contingents that will be mobilized this Monday, March 8, as part of the commemorative activities for International Women's Day.
As part of the actions to be taken by the SSPCM, a special operation will be carried out by female police officers to watch over the security and safety of the contingents and passersby that will circulate through the city's streets.
The municipal president, Karla Patricia Ruiz Macfarland, made a special request to guarantee the safety of each and every one of the participants, according to a press release.
At the same time, city authorities invite motorists to take alternate routes in order to avoid traffic jams in the areas where the demonstrations will be held.
