The theater will serve as a cultural space, hopefully.

Sharing the best of cinema and artistic works throughout more than 60 active years, Cine Libertad has been reopened this past month to remember great times in local entertainment and make facilities known to new generations.

It was a place where Tijuana residents came to see their favorite films in the Libertad neighborhood, which was founded in 1930.

With the premiere of the documentary "Un crimen llamado educación" (A Crime Called Education), this historic movie theater will remain as a space for the projection and support of cinematographic and artistic events.

Located on 5th Street, between Aquiles Serdán and Pino SuáreZ in the Libertad neighborhood, this place welcomes once again its faithful followers.

Check out their Facebook page to find out about upcoming screenings.
